Frequently asked questions.
Below you’ll find answers to common questions about faith-based financial coaching for young adults, engaged couples, and newlyweds.
Grace & Goals Financial Coaching offers one-on-one coaching focused on clarity, practical strategy, and intentional next steps so you can move forward with confidence in your finances.
What exactly does a financial coach do?
A financial coach helps you create a clear, personalized plan to manage your money with confidence and move forward with intentional next steps.
Together we build better financial habits, organize your budget, and create a practical strategy for your goals — whether that’s paying off debt, preparing for marriage, buying a home, saving for the future, or simply feeling in control of your finances.
How is coaching different from financial advising or therapy?
Financial coaching focuses on day-to-day money habits and practical financial planning.
Unlike a financial advisor, I do not sell investments or financial products. Coaching helps you build the foundation of financial clarity — budgeting, saving strategies, debt payoff, and preparing for major life decisions.
Many people benefit from financial coaching before working with an advisor because strong financial habits support long-term wealth.
Who do you work with?
I work with thoughtful individuals, couples, and families who want greater clarity and direction with their money.
Many of my clients are:
• engaged or newly married
• preparing to buy a home
• working to build stronger financial habits
• wanting to stop living paycheck-to-paycheck
Whether you’re preparing for a wedding, managing debt, or planning your next financial chapter, I’ll help you create a clear path forward.
What if I’m embarrassed or nervous to talk about money?
That’s completely normal — and I get it.
Money can feel deeply personal and emotional. My approach is judgment-free and encouraging. You will never be lectured or pressured.
Every session is confidential and focused on grace, progress, and practical next steps — never perfection.
What happens during a Grace Peek call?
