Frequently asked questions.

Q: What exactly does a financial coach do?

A: A financial coach helps you create a personalized plan to manage your money, build better habits, and reach your financial goals - like paying off debt, increasing savings, saving for a home, or creating a budget that actually works for your lifestyle.

Q: How is coaching different from financial advising or therapy?

A: Coaching focuses on day-to-day money habits and future goals - not investing or mental health. I don’t sell financial products or give investment advice. Instead, I help you get organized, confident, and in control of your finances.

Q: Who do you work with?

A: I work with individuals and couples, especially first-time homebuyers, law enforcement families, and people who want to stop living paycheck to paycheck. If you’re ready for a change, I’m here to help.

Q: What if I’m embarrassed or nervous to talk about money?

A: You’re not alone - and everything we discuss is 100% confidential. My job is to meet you with grace, not judgment. We’ll go at your pace and focus on progress, not perfection.

Q: How do we meet for coaching sessions?

A: All coaching is done virtually through secure video calls, so you can join me from the comfort of your home. If you are local to me and strongly prefer in-person, we can make arrangements.
